Firefox is already running

If you try to start Firefox and you get the message „Firefox is already running“ you can try to do

1. run „Fix for Firefox is already running“ from the Softwareshop. This is obsolet, because Firefox can now fix it by it self.
2. open Explorer, type %Appdata%, navigate to Mozilla\Profiles\. Inside this Directory you will find a another directory with a random name. In this directory you will find a file named parent.lock. Try to delete the file parent.lock.
3. If the file parent.lock can't be deleted, you have to create a new profile. Start „%programfiles%\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe -p“. Click on Create a profile, enter a name and check the marked Checkbox.
